Human connection, with a bunch of people burning off steam, pissed off at the world. You know you have a real friend when you can punch each other in the face. Best times of my life.

Not my video, but I’m in here a few times.

I’m not a fan of crowds. I wouldn’t even walk into that mess.

That wasn’t  a crowd. Everyone in that room knew each other personally. A crowd is a group of strangers. That was a room full of friends.

I also hate crowds.

Methinks you have the wrong definition of crowd. It has nothing to do with whether you know them or not, it’s all about proximity:

“a large number of people gathered together in a disorganized or unruly way.”

“(of a number of people) fill (a space) almost completely, leaving little or no room for movement.”

I like my friends, but I like them at an arm’s length away. Any closer and I’m feeling crowded. Funny thing is that we all feel that way. None of us likes being too close to each other. Even when we did have loud parties, we did our best not to get crammed together like in your video.

To each his own!

I think it’s a cultural thing. My friends are like brothers and sisters to me. If I’m at my grandma’s house with all my brother, sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts...etc, I wouldn’t consider that a crowd, it’s family.

Same deal with my friends, who I consider family.

If I’m walking around in public with strangers, I don’t want anyone near me. Same deal if I’m out camping or hiking.
